Sebastian Probst is a Full Professor of Tissue Viability and Wound Care at the Geneva School of Health Sciences, HES-SO University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland, and the University Hospital of Geneva. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Geneva, Monash University (Australia), and the University of Galway (Ireland).

Sebastian’s research focuses on person-centered wound care, patient education, social support, and self-efficacy. He is also involved in AI-driven wound care solutions to enhance clinical decision-making.

Sebastian actively lectures and mentors students at all levels and leads collaborative projects in Switzerland and internationally. He is the Immediate Past President of the European Wound Management Association and Vice-President of Wound DACH, contributing to key projects and guideline development.
